BIU website contains just about all the information you need to find out about our distance education university and all the adult degree programs offered. Contact us to get your questions answered directly. Every student's situation and profile is different and we like to handle cases individually. Once all your questions are answered you may proceed to officially apply for admission at BIU. You may also choose your language of study. Please note that BIU does not provide visa and immigration services because all BIU online university courses may be completed from home.

• Official Application for Admission

For official admission status at BIU, you need to send in a filled out, dated and signed official Application for Admission. You may download this application form from our website or request it by email or mail. Please send this application and enclosed documents to the corresponding BIU Office and allow ten business days for processing. You may also submit this application and attached documents by email in PDF Format.

• ALL applicants must:

1. Fill out the application for admission;
2. Submit one ID-sized photo; and
3. Date and sign the application.

• ALL Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate applicants also must:

1. Attach biodata in the form of a Curriculum Vitae (Resume);
2. Submit Registration Fee of 200 €uros or 250 US$ (contact BIU Office for payment details);
3. Include copies of diplomas, transcripts, relevant documents; and
4. Include any additional program proposal, scholarship request, etc. (optional).

• Official Admission Certificate

Once the application for admission has been processed BIU will issue an Official Admission Certificate that will show the amounts of credits transferred from previous education, any credits allocated for professional experience, and the amount of credits required to complete the distance learning degree program. This certificate also calculates the cost of the program of study. The BIU office may provide payment plans and financial assistance. This certificate will allow you to know exactly, and prior to formal enrollment into the adult degree program, the amount of credits required, the estimated time of completion, and the cost. The next step is to formalize your registration.

• Formal Enrollment & Program Tuition

To formalize your registration, you need to deposit the corresponding tuition payment according to the payment plan you have chosen. (up to 24 monthly installments). To ensure consumer protection, This distance education university subscribes a program cancellation and refund policy after enrollment. You are fully registered as soon as payment is received. Then, BIU will determine the academic work assignments and textbooks necessary to earn the credits required to complete your distance learning degree program.

The tuition for any online university degree includes all: program of study, textbooks, Student ID Card, Study Guide, tutorials, assessment, online diploma and transcript. The Hague Apostille Certificate, and other Graduation Services such as additional copies of diplomas, etc. that are specified in the Graduation Services Order Form are not included in the tuition. Memberships into affiliated organizations should be dealt directly with each organization.

• Program Start and Studying

After you have formally registered and the assignments (reports, project or thesis) and textbooks have been determined, BIU will automatically proceed to order the required textbooks. It may take 7 to 15 days to determine the textbooks and assignments required for your adult degree program. It may take one to three additional weeks until you get the textbooks in your hands. So, it takes an average of 3 to 7 weeks after formal enrollment to actually start studying. Writing reports, project, and thesis is key at BIU, as often is the case in professional life. Therefore, the distance learning degree program requirements primarily consist of studying all the textbooks assigned and writing reports on these readings, according to the guidelines described in the BIU Study Guide. Once you have received all the instructions, program guidelines, textbooks, and other study material, it will be up to you how to administer your time to complete the assignments and obtain your online university degree.
